being single

There's nothing wrong with being single. It's nice to be free.

I can stay out late every night, I can wear whatever I want, I can just be my plain old self. The whole world sees that I can take care of myself.

But to tell you the truth, I wouldn't mind having someone walk me home. I wouldn't mind wanting to look good or trying to be better for someone. I wouldn't mind letting someone hold me when I'm just to weak to go on.

It's nice to be free, but I wouldn't mind being bound to someone who loves me.

The Best Gift

Life's a constant change.
Love's the greatest surprise.
Frienship's your best defense.
Maturity comes with responsibilities.
And death's just around the corner.

So expect little, assume nothing..
sometimes, be selfish, learn from your mistakes,

"Move On"

I've never understood the reasoning for someone to "move on".

It's not like you're really going to "move on"..
You're just trying to tell your heart to stop thinking about that person every second of every minute, every minute of every day til it finally becomes a routine and you don't notice it anymore.

That is, til you see that person again, with someone who isn't you, and then you have to remind yourslef again...

realizations

As I grow old, my realizations about life become deeper.
problems get bigger..
situations become more complicated..
and things really get messed up..

Sometimes I wish I could go back,
back to the time when the only man in my life was my kuya,
my only bestfriend is my mom
and any pain could be heald by just a band-aid and a lollipop..

relationships

We can love someone and just be happy about it even if we know that it cannot last forever.

It is not about having someone. It is not about owning a relationship.

It is just about being happy because you know you have loved and you love someone.

There is a purpose and meaning behind all events, and this purpose and meaning develop you as a person. Whatever relationship you have in your life now, they are precisely the ones you need at this moment.

A guy who loves you can't actually state the reason why he does.
